It’s so wonderful to know that God, the creator of this vast unending universe, loves you as an individual.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
God loves you.
Say it with me: God loves me.
We can also love him back because of His love for us.
1John 4:19 YLT says; ”We — we love him, because He — He first loved us;”
God has placed in every man the capacity to love his maker.
This love is the foundation for true worship.
To be able to truly worship God, you must genuinely love God.
Man was created with the capacity to show or give love and to receive love.
God showed His love for us when Jesus died in our place on the cross of Calvary so that our sins can be taken away. God’s love was openly displayed for heaven and earth to witness.
We are called to love God unashamedly. When we openly demonstrate our love for Him, we truly worship Him.
Mark 12:30 (NKJV) ‘And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment.
Loving God is a commandment of God. We are commanded to love God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength. There should be only one position for God in our lives; NUMBER 1.
To be a true worshipper you must be a true lover of God.
