ESTABLISH A RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD: SECOND PROTOCOL OF THE TRUE WORSHIPER

One very important part of life is establishing relationships with other people.

There is an innate part of man that absolutely craves for this.

This longing and desire was put in man by our creator.

In the same way, there is a longing and deep desire in every man or woman to establish a relationship with their creator.

People have gone out and searched for a ‘god.’ However, it’s impossible to establish a relationship with a carved wood over-layed with paint or with a polished stone. There is no life within such ‘gods.’

Some others have made live animals their ‘gods.’ The issue with that is; what do you do when such animals die? Look for another ‘god?’

Man is a spirit and that void in man can only be filled with a genuine relationship with a God that is Spirit.

John 4 verse 24 says that God is Spirit. The Creator of the heavens and the earth is Spirit.

The living God is also a Triune God: The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit

In the Old Testament we read about how The Father established relationships with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and eventually the whole nation of Israel.

In the New Testament books of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John we read about Jesus and how He came on the earth and established relationships with His disciples and told them to wait for the promise from the Father: The Holy Spirit.

In the book of The Acts of the Apostles we read about the coming of the promised Holy Spirit with the mighty power of God upon the 120 disciples in the upper room in Jerusalem. This established a relationship so that The Holy Spirit indwells men and women that would receive Him.

The Bible is a book about the relationship of God with His family; man.

A true worshipper has a relationship with God.

So take some time and ask yourself: Do I have a relationship with God?
